Police said at least 50 people were detained Saturday during a right-wing demonstration in Sweden’s second-largest city that left one police officer and several others injured.
The rally by the Nordic Resistance Movement in Goteborg, 400 kilometers (248 miles) southwest of Stockholm, featured an estimated 600 people marching in formation in all-black outfits. Some wore helmets and held shields, while others hoisted the movement’s green-and-white flags.
Police had posted flyers before the event warning people not to act in a way reminiscent of German Nazis demonstrations in the 1930s and 1940s.
NMR, which promotes an openly anti-Semitic doctrine, originally sought to pass near a downtown synagogue during the march, which coincided with Yom Kippur, Judaism’s holiest day of the year. But Swedish courts intervened and shortened the route to less than one kilometer (0.6 mile.) The rally’s ending time also was shortened to avoid clashing with a nearby soccer game.
Counter-demonstrators threw fireworks and attempted several times to break police lines, allegedly to confront NMR members, who also tried to get past riot police. Several were detained on suspicion of rioting, police said.
“Stones, bottles and sticks were also thrown at us,” police spokesman Hans Lippens said.
Spanish police in riot gear smashed in the doors of polling stations and dragged protesters away by the hair, beating some with batons and firing rubber bullets at others on Sunday as they tried to shut down an illegal referendum on independence in Catalonia.
Despite the police brutality against largely peaceful demonstrations, voting began in many locations across northeast Spain at 9 a.m. The Catalan government said 73 percent of polling stations were open. Spain’s representative in the region, Enric Millo, said the vote had been “dismantled.”
Catalan President Carles Puigdemont said the crackdown had been an “unjustified, excessive and irresponsible use of violence.”
“It didn’t end Catalans’ desire to vote and decide freely about their future, but it has helped to answer all the questions we had to address today,” he said at a voting site near Girona that had been raided by the Civil Guard. “Today, the Spanish state lost.”
Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy deployed thousands of police from outside Catalonia ahead of the vote to maintain public order, with the crisis already roiling his minority government.
This is the moment an ISIS fighter armed with a machine gun films the grisly end he meets from a rocket-propelled grenade. The terrorist fighter – wearing a GoPro-style body camera - films an attack unfolding on his position from in front of him. First one grenade rips into the pillar of building showering him in shards of concrete, but instead of retreating he moves forward to engage his foes. Dramatic film has also emerged of two Kurdish fighters sneaking up on ISIS position and taking out two guards in the blink of an eye. The terror group is now losing the battle across the Middle East, the US led-coalition said this week.
FBI Director Christopher Wray warned Congress on Wednesday that terrorist groups are looking to use drones to wage attacks in the U.S.
“I think we do know that terrorist organizations have an interest in using drones,” Wray testified in a hearing for the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee.
“We’ve seen that overseas already with growing frequency. I think the expectation is that it’s coming here imminently. I think they are relatively easy to acquire, relatively easy to operate, and quite difficult to disrupt and monitor,” Wray added.
Nicholas Rasmussen, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center echoed Wray’s concerns.
“Two years ago this was not a problem. A year ago it was an emerging problem. Now it’s a real problem. So we’re quickly trying to up our game,” Rasmussen testified during the hearing.
He said that counterterrorism agencies have ramped up efforts to bring together intelligence professionals to help understand the tactics and techniques that drone-using terrorist groups might employ.
“That could be dropping small explosives the size of a grenade. It could be dispersal of toxins, potentially,” Rasmussen said.
Hundreds marched against a scheduled (but then canceled) "Dixie Freedom Rally" in Austin, Texas, on Saturday. Public pressure against the event was immense, and after receiving threats of violence, the Texas Confederate Militia decided to postpone the event to a later date. That didn't stop the counter march the Austin chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America had planned.
Chanting their way through downtown Austin, the capital of Texas, demonstrators denounced Confederate symbolism and called for the dismantling of public works and streets that bear the name of Confederate icons. At the end of the march, fights broke out both between protesters and between protesters and police. Two people were arrested. Event organizers reached out to lawyers and are fighting the charges.
According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, only Virginia has more Confederate symbols (which include roads, schools, statues and county names) than Texas.
Austin has already been taking steps to remove public reminders of its history as part of the Confederacy. Just last week Texas House Speaker Joe Strauss called for removal of a plaque near the Capitol that asserts slavery was not the underlying cause of the Civil War. And finally after years of resistance, administrators at the University of Texas Austin decided to take down Confederate statues on campus.

A Russian submarine fired off cruise missiles which struck jihadi targets almost 200 miles away in Syria. Newly-released footage shows weapons being blasted from the Veliky Novgorod vessel in the Mediterranean Sea on Friday. Missiles are seen being launched high into the air from the submarine before buildings in Idlib, Syria, are obliterated. Russian defence chiefs said the offensive was launched in response to an attack by jihadists on government-held swathes of northwest Syria. Command centres, armoured vehicles and jihadi training centres were struck from a distance of 300km away (186 miles), defence chiefs said.
Extraordinary footage has captured the moment ISIS jihadis were reportedly killed in an explosion after being hunted down by a Syrian army tank.
Extremists can be heard crying and screaming before and after the blast as gunshots ring in the background.
Go-pro video shows terror fanatics panicking when they spot a tank as they travel through desert in an armoured car.
The footage was seized by Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Hezbollah forces after the ISIS convoy was obliterated in the offensive, according to the Syriana Analysis YouTube account .
According to Syrian News , government forces foiled an ISIS attack on their barracks near Hmaimeh in Homs. Five vehicles were destroyed and 13 terrorists killed in the battle.
In the final moments before the jihadists are blown to bits, they can be heard saying "the tank will bomb us," in a translated version of the video.
If you still don't believe that the president of Syria needs to be removed from office ASAP, perhaps you should watch this video of his military launching a deadly attack on a hospital that is known to be packed with people due to the ongoing conflict in the region.
Listen as the officers openly discuss which section of the hospital to attack, they pick the maternity ward that one officer admits is probably filled with women and children.
A barbaric public execution being staged by Islamic State fighters was stopped in its tracks as a British missile wiped out a sniper. The extraordinary footage shows a crowd of civilians being forced at gunpoint to gather in the Syrian town of Abu Kamal to watch the spectactle. Two shackled prisoners are pulled out the back of a van, ready to be killed in public. But seconds later, a single RAF Hellfire missile hits its target - a sniper who had been keeping watch on a roof nearby - and the whole area is sent into chaos. And the execution is unable to go ahead.
At least 80 people have been arrested during protests that were encouraged by the Democrats on their social media accounts.
On the 17th the St. Louis young Democrats twitter page and Facebook page posted numerous images and text posts encouraging black lives matter and those who support the movement to rise up and fight back against police and anyone who doesn't believe what they believe.
Well, black lives matter terrorists took it upon themselves to do exactly that!
This is yet more proof that the Democrats are not only controlling the black lives matter terrorist group along with Antifa, but they are actually encouraging them to commit these acts of violence and terrorism throughout the United States in hopes they can take over the country just like the fascists Nazis they stole their tactics from.
The alt left terrorist group, Antifa, has been defending Muslim migrants for years now. Yet recently the terrorist group has adopted many of the same terrorist tactics that you can see Muslim brotherhood offshoots using around the world.
Spain is no different! Watch the terrorist group Block roadways in an attempt to keep anti-Muslim protesters from getting too close to a Muslim mosque that just opened.
The terrorist group was seen hurling bricks, stones, assaulting police officers, smashing car windows, until a separate unit of police officer showed up and kept the calm between the rival factions.
The Israeli military said it shot down an Iranian-made spy drone operated by the Hezbollah militant group as it approached the Golan Heights on Tuesday, and vowed to take further tough action against any attempts by its archenemies to violate the country's sovereignty.
The aerial showdown took place as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was preparing to address the U.N. General Assembly, where his speech is expected to focus on concerns of Iran's rising influence across the region, particularly in neighboring Syria.
Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus, an Israeli military spokesman, said the drone took off from a Damascus military airport and was on a surveillance mission near Israel's border. He said Israel decided to shoot it down after it entered the demilitarized zone between Syria and the Israeli-controlled side of the Golan.
Fighter jets were scrambled but did not attack the aircraft, and instead a single Patriot missile shot it down, he said.
"Our message is that the IDF will not allow any violation of Israeli sovereignty, and we will not allow Iranian forces, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad or Shiite militias of any kind to approach the Israeli borders," Conricus said. He said if any other attempts to violate Israel's sovereignty are made, "we will respond swiftly." IDF is the acronym for the Israeli Defense Forces.
Buddhists are known as possibly the most peaceful people on the planet due to their religion prohibiting them from engaging in acts of violence towards anybody or anything, including things a small as bugs.
The same cannot be said for those who adhere to the Islamic religion.
Listen as these children explain exactly what happened when the Muslims arrived in what was formally known as Burma to launch a vicious attacks on anyone who did not subscribe to their religion of hatred.
So for those who were crying about the Muslims fleeing the war-torn nation, don't! The Muslims were attempting to take over yet another Eastern Asian country and received the backlash from both the people and the government forces.
The London Times published an article on Friday that provided testimonies from women who were raped by Myanmar soldiers. Doctors have treated these women at a clinic in Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh and have reported “evidence of mass sexual assault and are struggling to cope with the numbers.” The Times continued:
Armed with pistols and machetes, the soldiers stormed into Amina’s home, killing her husband with a shot to the head as they came in. When her two-month-old son began crying one soldier seized the child and dashed him against a wall. “My heart shattered into a thousand pieces,” Amina wept.
Two soldiers then held her down as a third man raped her. When she screamed they choked her until finally she endured the attack in silence. “When they pressed my face to a side,” she said, “I saw my son’s lifeless body lying there on the ground.”
Twenty-seven-year-old Rahma recounted how the soldiers separated the men and the women in her village. The soldiers then took the men into a hut at gunpoint and proceeded to set the hut on fire. Then they turned their attention to the women:
The women were forced to strip naked and herded together like cattle. Soldiers handpicked the youngest girls and dragged them away.
One of them was Saba, a 12-year-old girl who lived next door to Rahma. “We could hear them screaming from the paddy field,” Rahma said. They found the girls’ naked bodies floating in a muddy ravine the next day.
Mass media stirred panic in the Kherson region of Ukraine, due to reports of a breakthrough by a new Russian military helicopter Ka-52, from the Crimea.
The Russian "Alligator" allegedly flew unhindered 10 kilometers deep into Ukrainian territory. It was filmed on home video by eyewitnesses, however the Ukrainian military had not detected the occurrence.
The video of the "Alligator" has been examined and was found to be genuine, although it was not possible to determine the exact date of the video.
A group of Muslim migrants faced off against a furious group of German citizens who witnessed the migrants sexually assaulting numerous women during a festival in Nürnberg.
All hell broke loose when the migrants were confronted and denied the accusations that were completely based on actually seeing the assaults take place.
This is the new normal in Germany as Muslim migrants continue to ravage every city they enter.
In Europe the Antifa terrorist group controlled by leftists such as George Soros, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and a slew of rich billionaires is hundred percent open about their goals of converting capitalist societies into fascist communist societies that they control.
So for you liberals in the United States that continue to act as if this terrorist group is nothing more than a response to Donald Trump winning the election, think again!
The group is actually been around for a long time and has been causing chaos throughout the Western world for years in an attempt to destroy democracies and convert them into fascist Communist controlled governments. Which is ironic considering they claim to be anti-fascist!
In an interview for the L’Express newspaper, retired principal, Bernard Ravet (right) recalled one case in which he as the principal of a public school asked a counterpart from a private Jewish school in Marseille to accept an Israeli boy whose mother wanted to enroll him at Ravet’s school.
INN Ravet said he “knew the boy would get beaten to pulp” as soon as the other students realize he is an Israeli Jew.
Ravet first realized his school was not unsuitable for Jews when a radio journalist, Edouard Zambeaux, asked some his students during interviews whether there were any Jews studying in their institution. “If there are, then they have to hide it,” one student said, sending “a chill down my back,” Ravet recalled.
Davindenkoff told JTA Thursday that he considers it a “failure” for the public education system when one of its principals feels they need to refer Jews to private schools for their own safety or well being.
Vandals deface a Spanish mosque with racist graffiti as right-wing radicals let off flares amid a spate of anti-Islamic assaults following Barcelona terror attack
Vandals have defaced a Spanish mosque with racist graffiti amid a spate of anti-Islamic assaults following the Barcelona terror attack.
The Seville Mosque Foundation's centre was targeted with anti-Muslim slogans including one which read: 'Killers, you're going to pay' and another that used a derogatory term for North Africans.
The graffiti, which also included threats to behead Muslims with a machete, was discovered on Saturday morning. Meanwhile a mosque in Granada was attacked with flares by a gang of around 12 people in what has also been described as a 'racist' attack.
A group of Chechen Muslims known for their terrorism around the country of Russia have issued even more terrorist threats directed at not just the government in charge, but also children who were attending school in the country.
The Chechen Muslims DEMAND that Russia allow Chechnya to become its own independent nation as well as allow eastern parts of Russia to be annexed into the caliphate.
In yet another example of what happens when you invite Third World inhabitants into your first world country, yesterday in Italy we witnessed a bus driver being brutally assaulted by a group of African migrants who demanded to ride the bus for free.
The African migrants did this as onlookers watched in horror and cover their children's eyes as the Africans unleashed tirades of racist attacks against the Italians as well is physically assaulting Italians attempting to keep them from getting on the bus.
Police dressed in anti-riot gear used water cannon and batons on Thursday to clear out about 100 mostly Ethiopian and Eritrean refugees who had occupied a square near Rome's main train station.
Ethnic Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar's Rakhine State say security forces have set new fires to homes in a village. Police said the houses were burned by terrorists called Bengalis.
If you are curious exactly what type of mentality the Africans attempting to enter Europe are coming into the consonant with, take a listen to these African migrants that are attempting to go through Morocco in order to go to Spain threatening the local population with death if they don't give into their demands.
4 cops parked up in a gas station in Guanajuato got ambushed, all shot in their pick-up before they could react. Then other gunmen came in and shot the two attendants for no reason. On the way out of town they shot dead the female attendant at the highway toll booth, and then found stumbled another two cops on the road and they were found dead the next day. 9 bodies, just another night in central Mexico.

Isabelle, who was born in Toulouse, has been living on the island of Saint-Martin in the Antilles for 25 years. This doctor, who is currently on holiday in Toulouse, normally, thanks to her job, has nerves of steel. But since yesterday, she is in total panic and is calling for help because she fears for the life of her husband and son who are on the Antilles island that has been ravaged by Hurrican Irma.
“My husband and my son are in danger of being killed, like a large part of the populatiion. It’s civil war there. We have started to hear some talk in the media about looters who cleaned out the shops after the hurricane, but it’s still very far from reality. Gangs of thugs have robbed the customs house, which was badly damaged, and have stolen the stocks of weapons that were there. Since Thursday evening, they’ve been moving back and forth across the island wearings masks and hoods attacking the houses that were still standing where the inhabitants had taken refuge,” she says, on the verge of tears.
“I had them on the phone last night. They are paralysed with fear. It’s around our house where they’ve barricaded themselves with six friends who are at our home because their villa was destroyed,” she continues. “They can’t go out. They say the attackers are moving around in gangs of ten, it’s completely lawless and they’re ready to shoot to get food or money.”
Her statements are confirmed by the testimonies of other residents of the island, who tell on social networks of gangs who are smashing in the doors of houses saying “Whites out”.
After refusing to make payment in order to ride the train, these African migrants turned this Spanish Metro station into a junkyard by throwing trash and anything else they can find all over the ground.
This is yet another example of these Third World folks showing up to civilized parts of the world and being unable to adjust to life in a civilized society.
The moment Spanish police shot one of the five terror suspects in Cambrils, Spain, on Friday, Aug. 18, was caught on video, showing the dramatic rebound the man made before being shot again and killed.
In the video, the suspect can be seen shouting at the police, then running toward them before shots ring out and he falls over.
He gets up from the ground and seems to be walking away slowly, then turns around and goes back toward the side of the police car. He ignores commands to get down on the ground and turns to cross the street, going in front of the car, when he is shot again by police.
A brutal assault on a group of German citizens occurred outside of a deli up the street from the nightclub they were chased from.

Clashes broke out Sunday between hundreds of asylum seekers at a shelter in Berlin, in the second mass brawl to erupt over the weekend in Germany's crowded migrant accommodations.
Several people were arrested at the fight that started in the food distribution queues at the former airport of Tempelhof, which has been turned into a temporary accommodation for 1,200 refugees, an AFP photographer witnessed.
The brawl came just hours after another mass fight at a refugee shelter in the Berlin suburb of Spandau, where migrants went at each other with fire extinguishers, a police spokesman said.
Windows were smashed, sofas were thrown, and fire extinguishers emptied, said police, adding that several residents of the shelter were wounded.
Some 500 people evacuated the building "in fear and panic" over the dispute.
Separately, two other fights broke out in other shelters.
At a refugee home in Berlin's Kreuzberg area, a 18-year-old struck a 17-year-old on the head with a belt, police said.
Meanwhile, five people were injured in a fight between Syrians in the showers of an accommodation in the eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt.
Such disturbances have occurred before in other shelters in Germany, with tensions escalating quickly between often traumatised people from different cultures sharing packed spaces.
At the same time, they have been relatively rare given the sheer numbers of new arrivals -- Germany expects to take in a million asylum seekers this year alone, and has put up hundreds of thousands in flats, army barracks, sports halls and tent cities.
Over 60 percent of the migrants who arrived in Finland last year are likely to fail in their asylum pleas, meaning that around 20,000 of them will be deported, the Finnish Interior Ministry said.
Paivi Nerg, the Interior Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, told Reuters, “20,000 is the estimate we are working with at the moment, but the number of asylum seekers who decide to return voluntarily could change it.”
In an interview with AFP, Nerg said that 65 percent of the 32,000 migrants who arrived in the country last year “will get a negative decision.”
It’s a normal percentage of refusals, she explained, adding that it’s only the overall number of asylum seekers that has grown.
In 2014, for example, just 3,651 people applied for asylum in Finland, of which 56 percent were declined.
Last year, the Finnish government tightened the process for granting asylum to refugees from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia, citing the improved security situation in some parts of those countries.
Iraqis make up nearly two-thirds of all the migrants seeking asylum in Finland, and two flights have been chartered to transport deportees back to Iraq in the following months, she said.
Nerg said that some 4,000 asylum seekers have already withdrawn their applications voluntarily and the authorities are hoping more people will do the same.
Another 2015 law envisaged a voluntary return model, in which Finland pays up to €1,000 for every migrant’s ticket home.
The legislation has been criticized by many in Finland, but Nerg said that it’s more cost-efficient than deportation.
“If one is expelled by force, it’s up to the Finnish state to pay for the flight and police officers guarding it. It’s a lot more expensive,” she told the Helsingin Sanomat paper.
According to the Permanent Secretary, separate transit centers will be established for those leaving Finland voluntarily and for those being deported.
All of last year’s asylum applications will be processed by the end of August, she said.
