A 36-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday in a shooting on Milwaukee's west side that was recorded by at least two surveillance cameras.
The victim in the 12:40 a.m. shooting on the 2300 block of W. State Street was identified Monday as Lanell B. Taylor.
A pair of surveillance videos obtained by WISN 12 NEWS shows one man removing a long, semi-automatic gun from the trunk of a parked car. Another angle shows a man firing more than 20 shots from the weapon within a span of about six seconds.
A Milwaukee police spokesperson said detectives are looking for a known suspect in the shooting, which stemmed from an argument at a nearby bar.

Don't look down! This is the moment a daredevil takes a few firm steps and hurls himself into the abyss off the edge of a cliff. Stomach-churning video captures the moment he leaps from the 800ft cliff and plummets towards the earth with nothing more than a single rope to keep him from falling to his death. Ryan Jenks, a 33-year-old painting contractor is a fan of rope jumping - that's leaping off a cliff, but while attached to a highline rope safety system. Though it might seem crazy, it's not something he takes lightly. He'd been planning this jump for over a year, after deciding that this spot in Yosemite National Park was perfect.
Villagers in northern China believe they have discovered the 60ft skeleton of a dead dragon. Traditional Chinese dragons have no wings, and are depicted 'swimming' through the air, rather than flapping their wings, as shown in Western mythology. This depiction has convinced the residents of Zhangjiakou City, in China's northern Hebei Province, that they had stumbled across a dragon. Footage taken by various witnesses at the scene shows dozens of villagers surrounding the suspected dragon remains, which start with a large skull, two tiny arms and then extend further along the grass. The villagers are not sure what to make of the skeleton, but a superstitious few seemed convinced that they were indeed looking at the remains of the mythical creature. Chinese social media said the ribby skeleton appeared to have been placed there intentionally, perhaps as a prop for a movie, but so far no one has come forwards to confirm these claims. Local authorities in Zhangjiakou have also yet to release a statement about the so-called dragon remains. The video has been viewed more than 10 million times.
The body of a toddler killed by her mother who was obsessed with a motorcycle-riding 'wolfman' and aliens could be buried in bushland on the NSW Central Coast. NSW Police considered searching the area after the woman's notebooks were seized by detectives and an entry dated 2001 was found which read 'Killed Snapper Point'. Snapper Point is part of the Lake Munmorah State Conservation Area south of Newcastle. Supreme Court Justice Robert Allan Hulme in Newcastle on Tuesday formally ordered the woman, 45, be released because she was not a danger to the community.
Footage has emerged of bystanders almost being swept out to sea by huge waves near coastal edge in Wales despite state warnings of storm Ophelia.
Some House Democrats are raising the specter of withholding support for must-pass spending legislation later this year in response to President Trump’s hard-line immigration proposals — meaning the fate of roughly 690,000 younger undocumented immigrants could become a major factor in negotiations to keep the government open after December.
“What the White House put forward is a complete non-starter,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said in an interview, blaming Trump’s senior policy aides for advancing “un-American” ideas on how to deal with immigration.
Lithonia, Georgia mom Octavia Parks was left dumbfounded after discovering her 12 year old daughter’s health class homework.
The sixth grade student from Lithonia Middle School in Lithonia, Georgia was given an assignment last week asking students to name sexual identity terms — such as gay, lesbian and transgender — based on their definitions.
The “Identity Definitions” assignment defined the terms as follows:
A woman who is attracted to women [answer: lesbian]
A man who is attracted to men [answer: gay]
A person who is attracted to men and women [answer: bisexual]
When the person’s gender identity doesn’t match the sex (male or female) the doctor said they were when they were born [answer: transgender]
“We’re talking about a sixth-grader who still watches Nickelodeon,” Parks told FOX 5 Atlanta WAGA-TV. “Why are they teaching that in school? What does that have to do with life?”
Parks told WAGA she opted her daughter out of the health class.
“I’m not ready to explain what these words are nor what they mean,” continued Ms. Parks.
Every here and there you find one of those videos that just brings you pure joy and happiness and make sure day that much better knowing that despite all the media lies, the liberal myths, and the black lives matter terrorist group making up everything imaginable in order to bash police officers, videos like this still put a smile on my face and show that not all police are out looking to hurt people, but most police are actually looking to better their communities.
Here is an example of one of those good police officers who are doing all they can to better their community by reaching out to those who are less fortunate.
Watch as 2 Arab Uber drivers brawl it out in the streets of London after simultaneously arriving to pick up the same customer who didn't feel like waiting so he saw who were arrived the quickest by placing multiple orders. That resulted in both Uber drivers arriving almost simultaneously and instantly brawling it out over the customer.

Newly released surveillance video taken at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre in London, Ont., shows Anthony George beating his cellmate Adam Kargus to death and then dragging the body into a common shower area the next morning, without jail guards ever seeming to notice.
George, 32, was sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole for 10 years on Oct. 7 for the 2013 death of Kargus, 29, who was choked, punched, kicked and stomped to death. The presiding judge said that "to suggest the murder was brutal would be an understatement."
George was scheduled to be tried by jury, but the case and much of the evidence collected by homicide investigators never made it to trial because the Kettle Point First Nation man made a surprise guilty plea just as his three-week trial was set to begin.
CBC News can now publish the surveillance video for the first time, after a judge ordered it released to media organizations on Wednesday.
Lawmakers of the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Parliament, initiated debates, which turned into a scuffle in the session hall. It started on Thursday afternoon, as the MPs considered the draft law on re-integration of Donbas.
The reason for the scuffle was that the document – specifically, Article 7, – contained mentions about Minsk agreement, which is supposed to solve Donbas conflict; certain political forces, such as Svoboda party and Radical party, protest against including this mechanism in the document.
Meanwhile, law enforcers boosted security measures and reinforced the guard in the governmental quarter, including the building of the Parliament.
Some jokes can be a little too soon. NBC sports broadcaster Al Michaels learned that lesson during last night’s “Sunday Night Football.”
In a matchup featuring the Denver Broncos against the New York Giants, Michaels apparently thought it would be funny to poke fun at the winless Giants.
During the third quarter, with the Giants leading the Broncos, Michaels dropped a joke on air comparing the Giants’ problems with those of Hollywood movie producer Harvey Weinstein.
Weinstein is facing numerous allegations of sexual harassment and assault that span decades.
Things got a bit awkward, and many on social media was not having it.
Michaels issued an apology later in the game.
“Sorry I made a reference earlier before, I tried to be a little flip about somebody obviously very much in the news all over the country. It was not meant in that manner. So, my apologies. And we’ll just leave it at that,” he said.
A jetliner rapidly descended by 24,000 feet after the aircraft lost cabin air pressure while traveling from Australia to the holiday island of Bali on Sunday.
People aboard Indonesia AirAsia Flight QZ535 described a panicked flight crew announcing an emergency and oxygen masks dropping from the ceiling.
Passenger Clare Askew told reporters that airline staff "were screaming, looked tearful and shocked."
She added: “Now, I get it, but we looked to them for reassurance and we didn’t get any, we were more worried because of how panicked they were."
Chris Jeanes told NBC News that AirAsia workers sprinted down aisle shouting "emergency, brace, crash positions" about 25 minutes after the plane took off from Perth, Australia.
Jeanes, the passenger, had planned to propose to his girlfriend Casey Kinchella in Bali, but pulled down his oxygen mask and did it on the plane.
Kimmel said he was not concerned with losing conservative viewers.
“I probably wouldn’t want to have a conversation with them anyway. Not good riddance, but riddance.”
They Were Making A Rap About The Police..Wait For It
There's been something of a media lockdown over the story of how a 43-year-old man armed with a knife was arrested outside the King’s Leadership Academy, Dingle, at about 2.50pm on Wednesday after he threatened to kill white people outside the school gates.
Afterwards the Police released this statement:
"Officers attended and a 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order offence and racially aggravated threats to kill. He has been taken to a police station in Merseyside to be interviewed."
The thing about that 'racially aggravated threats to kill.' statement is it doesn't say in which direction the threat was made and as this is the UK we automatically presume the knifeman was white.
In a laboratory somewhere in China, a chemist is producing the fentanyl that will kill an opioid user in Maryland.
Within China’s vast drug industry, which produces much of the global supply of pharmaceutical ingredients, laboratories are taking advantage of cheap labor and lax oversight from Beijing to churn out new versions of the cheap, powerful and often deadly synthetic opioid faster than U.S. authorities can identify, classify and ban them.
From China — the largest producer of fentanyl worldwide — the drug is sent daily by plane or ship to Mexico, where traffickers and truckers push it along well-worn paths of illicit narcotics north to the United States. In Baltimore and other cities, well-established gangs push the powder and pills to consumers.
This much is known by U.S. authorities. They’re intercepting increasing amounts of fentanyl. But they’ve been unable to make much of a dent in the trade.
“It’s kind of the new Wild West,” said Katherine Tobin, a member of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. The government panel helped outline the route for Congress earlier this year.
Deployed to stop the supply are more U.S. Food and Drug Administration inspectors, better customs technology and undercover Drug Enforcement Administration interference. There’s also been some recent cooperation from Chinese authorities.
Still, no one knows how much gets by — until it lands in cities such as Baltimore, where record numbers of people are overdosing and dying. Fentanyl, often mixed with or mistaken for heroin, but 50 times more powerful, is now Baltimore’s deadliest killer.

Comic George Lopez was booed off stage at a gala for juvenile diabetes in Denver last week, over an anti-Donald Trump routine that fell flat with the crowd.
We’re told the flap began when Trump backer and Liberty Media CEO Greg Maffei donated $250,000 but requested that Lopez cool it with the anti-Trump jokes at the Carousel Ball.
An attendee at the event — where tables sold from $5,000 to $100,000 to benefit the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes — commented on a YouTube video that “George was asked nicely to stop making Trump jokes by a man in front row [Maffei] who just donated $250K.” But “George doesn’t, continues. Gets booed.”
We’re told that Lopez responded to Maffei, “Thank you for changing my opinion on old white men, but it doesn’t change the way I feel about orange men.”
Trying to recover and sensing the audience turn, Lopez said, “Listen, it’s about the kids . . . I apologize for bringing politics to an event. This is America — it still is. So I apologize to your white privilege.”
Breitbart News Executive Chairman and former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon declared a “season of war” against the GOP establishment in an electrifying speech at the Values Voter Summit Saturday, warning Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell: “these folks are coming for you.”
“There’s a time and season for everything, and now it’s a season of war against the GOP establishment,” Bannon told the gathering in Washington, DC. “It’s no longer acceptable to come and pat you on the head and tell you everything’s going to be fine [if you] just get these guys an office.”
Bannon is planning a full-scale assault in the 2018 midterms, reportedly planning challenges on every GOP senator up for re-election (except for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz) and is believed to be eyeing a number of House and gubernatorial races as well.
“This is not my war. This is our war. And y’all didn’t start it. The establishment started it,” he said. Some
of the potential challenges are likely to be seen as long shots, but Bannon has the wind in his sails after Judge Roy Moore beat establishment-backed Sen. Luther Strange (R-AL) in last month’s Alabama Senate primary runoff, despite being outspent 10-1 by forces allied to McConnell.
In his speech Saturday, Bannon basked in that victory and warned McConnell that his position was more precarious than ever.
“Up on Capitol Hill, because I’ve been getting calls, it’s like before the Ides of March. They’re just finding out who’s going to be Brutus to your Julius Caesar,” Bannon said. “Yeah, Mitch, the donors aren’t happy, they’ve all left you.”
He told the crowd that Moore’s victory has spooked the establishment elites as it shows that money doesn’t matter, even going so far as to say that the more money they spend, “the fewer votes they get.”
Bannon warned Republicans who think they can hide from backing President Trump that their failure to support him will haunt them in the midterm primary seasons.
“No one can run and hide on this one, these folks are coming for you,” he warned. “The day of taking a few conservatives votes and hiding is over. These folks aren’t rubes, these folks aren’t idiots.”
Bannon also argued that the power of the Alabama vote can be shown in recent developments from the White House. He noted that since Moore’s Alabama victory, the Trump administration has issued an executive order on religious freedom, stopped the Obamacare insurance bailouts, pulled the U.S. out of UNESCO, decertified Iran’s compliance with the Iran nuclear deal, and pushed for a middle-class tax cut.
“Those are not random events folks, that is victory begets victory,” he said. “We owe that to Judge Roy Moore and the good men and women in Alabama because that all came from them.”
Former child actor Corey Feldman has spent years calling out the practice of Hollywood A-listers sexually exploiting young actors who try to make their mark in show business.
A video clip from a 2013 episode of The View where he shares these revelations about the abuse in the industry has resurfaced after allegations came to light that disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein sexually harassed and abused those working in the industry:
The trolls on 4Chan pulled off one helluva stunned by convincing this little kid to microwave his laptop computer in order to repair it.
Listen as the kid follows the live stream order step-by-step as he puts the laptop in the microwave after doing a series of other so-called repairs in order to get the laptop working correctly. Like wiping it with water!
Clearly the kid doesn't really understand how computer works so it was pretty easy to convince him to throw in the microwave in order to help it.
But, the kid appears to be a good sport at the end and admits that he got trolled.
SHAMED movie mogul Harvey Weinstein propositioned Myleene Klass with a sex contract, The Sun can reveal.
The disgusted TV presenter, then 32, immediately declined the offer, telling Weinstein to "f*** off" during a film festival lunch at Cannes in 2010.
The married movie mogul assumed the TV presenter would sleep with him — and wanted to silence her with a “confidentiality agreement”.
Instead Myleene fled their lunch meeting at a restaurant in Cannes feeling “disgusted and angry”.
Last night a friend of the former Hear’Say singer, now 39, said she believed she had been there to discuss work.
They went on: “She thought his intentions were genuine. But as soon as she found out what he really wanted, she told him to f*** off.”
The sleazy Hollywood mogul, 65, has been hit by a wave of sex allegations, which he denies.
Kate Beckinsale also revealed yesterday how Weinstein targeted her in London when she was just 17.
Fellow Brit Myleene has previously talked about her Weinstein encounter but said it would “bring Hollywood down” if she named him.
She had interviewed him at the Cannes Film Festival in 2010 while working for news channel CNN and was invited out to lunch the next day.
British TV journalist Matt Frei asked Hillary Clinton if she’s still blaming others more than herself for her election loss in an interview Friday.
Frei asked about her appeal to the voter during the 2016 presidential election, saying that her status as a Clinton prevented her gender from helping her.
"Your dynastic appeal or perhaps it was the opposite: The fact that you were called Clinton the fact that you were first lady basically trumped any novelty—if you forgive the term—of being the first female president of the United States," he said. "People looked at your name and your legacy more than they looked at your gender."
Clinton answered by laying out the amount of support she received and then blaming former FBI director James Comey and the Russians for her defeat.
"That doesn’t explain why I led all the way through, why I won the primary by 4 million votes, why I was winning, we had a great convention," she said. "I was thought to have won all three debates. That doesn't explain it, Matt, so that's why I had to really dig deep."
"And, yes, I take responsibility. Obviously, there were things I must have been able to do differently in order to have won," Clinton continued. "But at the end, there was this really perfect storm, and so you had the Comey letter and you had the enormous impact of the Russian theft of emails, the release of them by WikiLeaks, basically now a part of the Russian intelligence apparatus, and the weaponization of that. These were all new phenomena."
"So you're still blaming others more than yourself?" Frei asked
"No, I take ultimate responsibility, I don't blame others, but I think it's important that people understand what happened," Clinton said. "It easy to say, ‘You know she wasn’t a good candidate.’ Then why did lead all the way to the end, why did I get nominated overwhelmingly?"
"Did people lie at the polls?" Frei interjected.
"No, I think there were intervening events that caused people to worry, to have second thoughts," she said.
Carley Shimkus: This I believe in my opinion is the smoking gun here. According to TMZ reported that the Harvey Weinstein contract with the Weinstein Company actually allowed sexual misconduct to take place. All he had to do was pay the settlement and then pay from $250,000 to one million dollars to the company and then he would be allowed to keep his job.
Jesse Watters: Oh, so it insulates him.
Carley Shimkus: Yeah, in my opinion that actually means that the Weinstein Company was profiting off of these instances of sexual assault. Also why would you have that written in your contract if it wasn’t already widely known?
Rob Schneider wants to make one thing clear about Harvey Weinstein -- the mogul is no lone wolf, and Rob knows it because he too was sexually harassed by a director.
While Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Ashley Judd and Rose McGowan have all blasted Weinstein for his behavior -- Rob told us this kind of harassment and abuse also happens to men. He recalled a famous "gross director" making a semi-nude pass at him.
Rob says the director is now dead, but the incident has clearly stuck with him. Likewise, actor Terry Crews went public today with a run-in he had with a male studio exec ... just last year.
