Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson is most famous for asking “What is Aleppo?” during an interview when asked by the host what he would do about the crisis in Syria. Now, it appears that Johnson may have outdone himself.
While being interviewed by CNN about Saturday’s bombings in New York City and New Jersey and the stabbing attack in a Minnesota mall, Johnson made a major error when he said he was glad no body got hurt in the bombings.
“Well, first of all, just grateful nobody got hurt,” he stated.
Actually, 29 people were injured in the bombing in New York City. The only reason that number isn’t higher is because the second bomb failed to detonate and the terrorists placed the first bomb under a dumpster, which absorbed most of the blast.
