A Tennessee chapter of the Black Lives Matter movement has cancelled their meeting at a public library because the library said the meeting had to allow white people. According to the Nashville chapter organizer Josh Crutchfield the only rule for the meetings were that "only black people as well as non-black people of color are allowed to attend the gatherings." The rule was posted on a flier for the meeting, where a library patron saw it ad complained. A spokeswomen for the Nashville Public Library said the system did not ban the event, but told the Black Lives Matter members that every meeting held in the library had to admit all people. After they were told that, the meeting was moved to a nearby church. The Black Lives Matter chapter credited 'white supremacy' as the reason for the move.
